Calvin Men's Tennis Team Receive ITA Academic Honors

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The Calvin College men's tennis team has received 2019 Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) All-Academic honors, as announced by the organization.

In addition, three members of its 2019 squad received ITA Scholar-Athlete recognition.

In order to qualify for ITA All-Academic honors, a team must hold a minimum GPA of 3.20.

In order to qualify for ITA Scholar-Athlete honors, an individual must have had at least a 3.50 GPA during the 2018-19 academic year. Senior Charlie Fahr, junior Kyrus Tsai and sophommore Max Stallings all qualified this year.

The Knights finished the 2018-19 season with a third place finish in the MIAA at 4-2, and posted a 12-8 overall record.
