    The Tigers of Colorado College came out on top of a top-five battle on Saturday. The Tigers won, 25-22, 25-16, 25-22. Calvin is now 8-3 on the year and Colorado College improves to 10-0 in 2017.

    The Calvin volleyball team fell to Aurora and Illinois Wesleyan on Friday evening at the Elmhurst Invitational. The Knights move to 8-2 on the season.

    September 13, 2017
    The No. 1 ranked Calvin volleyball team remained perfect on Wednesday with a 3-0 victory at Alma on Wednesday night. The Knights sank the Scots, 25-8, 26-24, 25-16. The Maroon and Gold move to 8-0 on the season and 4-0 in the MIAA. Alma is now 3-4 and 1-2 in the MIAA. The victory keeps the Knights in first place in the MIAA with No. 18 Hope.

    Anna Kamp was named the MIAA Player of the Week for the second-straight week. Kamp helped the Knights go 3-0 in the MIAA last week, with victories over Olivet, Adrian, and Saint Mary’s.
  • No. 1 Volleyball Sinks Saint Mary’s, 3-0

    The No. 1 ranked Calvin volleyball team remained perfect in 2017. The Knights rolled over Saint Mary’s on Saturday, 25-18, 25-19, 25-14. The Maroon and Gold move to 7-0 overall and 3-0 in MIAA play. Saturday marked the first MIAA loss for the Belles, as they fall to 2-3 and 2-1 in the MIAA. Calvin has now won 47-straight MIAA regular season matches and 40-straight regular season matches.

    The Calvin volleyball team opened MIAA action with a convincing 3-0 victory over Olivet on Wednesday evening. The victory moves Calvin to 5-0 on the year. The Comets fall to 0-5 in 2017 and 0-1 in the MIAA. Calvin has now won 45-straight MIAA matches. Calvin is now 81-2 all-time against Olivet.
  • Volleyball Sweeps First MIAA Weekly Honors

    The Calvin volleyball team swept the MIAA weekly honors this week. Anna Kamp was named the Player of the Week by the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) and Jenna Lodewyk was named the Specialty Player of the Week. The two helped propel Calvin to four victories this past week, including three victories over ranked competition. Both were named to the Trinity Invitational All-Tournament Team, with Kamp being named the MVP.

    The No. 1 ranked Calvin volleyball team shined bright deep in the heart of Texas, this weekend. The Knights capped off an undefeated weekend with a 3-2 victory over the No. 6 Regals of California Lutheran and a 3-0 victory over Whitman. Calvin won the Trinity Invitational with a 4-0 record and picked up three victories over ranked teams. Junior Anna Kamp and senior Jenna Lodewyk were named to the All-Tournament Team, with Kamp claiming MVP honors.

    The No. 1 ranked Knights started the 2017 season with a pair of victories at the Trinity National Tournament on Friday. Calvin started the year with a 3-1 victory over No. 23 Wisconsin-Oshkosh and closed the day sweeping the No. 14 host Tigers of Trinity.

    Calvin volleyball coach Dr. Amber Warners and her Knights have started preparing for the 2017 season. Coach Warners enters her 17th season at the helm of the Calvin volleyball program and looks to build off a strong 2016 season, where the Knights won their third national title in seven years. Calvin will have a mixture of youth and seasoned veterans, including two returning All-Americans.
