Wheaton Sinks Women’s Swimming & Diving

WHEATON, Ill. – The Calvin women's swimming and diving team fell at Wheaton on Saturday afternoon, 161-137. The Knights won five events.

Sophomore Kendall Murphy (Modesto, Calif.) was victorious in the 1000-yard freestyle at 11:03.03.

Calvin went one-two in the 200-yard freestyle, sophomore Anna Serino Pinckney, Mich./Pinckney) had a winning-time of 1:57.33 and sophomore Madelyn Smith (Allegan, Mich./Allegan) finished in second place at 1:59.96.

Junior Sarah Bradley (Wheaton, Ill./Wheaton North) was stellar on the boards again on Saturday, winning the 1-meter event at 182.65 and the 3-meter at 261.15

In the 100-yard freestyle, junior Abby Van Harn (Grand Rapids, Mich./Grand Rapids Christian) won with a time of 52.80.

The Knights return back to action on Friday when they travel to Wayne State.
