GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Calvin women's soccer team landed three All-MIAA selections on Thursday afternoon. The Knights had two All-MIAA First Team selections in Camie Rietberg and Kali Mouw. Abby Koops was named to the All-MIAA Second Team.
"Being honored by the MIAA and its coaching body is special," said head coach Mark Recker. "These players are provided affirmation of all the hard work they put in during the season. Such honors are not guaranteed and thus a humble appreciation is a natural response. From a program and coaching staff, we are happy and proud of these team members for all they did for the team this season."
A senior from Wyoming, Michigan, Rietberg is earning All-MIAA honors for the first time. Rietberg was named to the All-MIAA First Team as a midfielder. She recorded five goals in MIAA play, including three game-winning goals.
