St. Louis, Mo. - Playing its third game in four days, the Calvin women's soccer team dropped a 3-0 decision to second-ranked Washington University of St. Louis Saturday afternoon.

The Knights (2-2-0) trailed just 1-0 halftime but the Bears (4-0-0) put the game away with a pair of second half goals, one coming off the foot of Caroline Dempsey in the 64th minute and other coming from Gillian Myers in the 86th minute.

Wash. U. outshot Calvin 25-1. Sophomore Brianna Koehn (Grand Rapids, Mich./Forest Hills Eastern HS) got the start in goal for the Knights and had a busy afternoon, making nine saves.

Calvin will now travel home and prepare for its home opener on Monday as the Knights host conference foe Albion at 4 p.m. at Zuidema Field.
