Women’s Golf Takes 11th Place at Olivet

BELLEVUE, Mich. – The Calvin women's golf team finished the two-day Kyle Campbell Classic at the Medalist Golf Club on Saturday. The Knights recorded a round of 365 on Saturday, for a two-day total of 737 stroke to take 11th place. DePauw won the tournament at 631 strokes.

Sophomore Nicole VanderYacht (Kentwood, Mich./South Christian) shot the lowest round for Calvin on Saturday at 90, for a two-day total of 179. She finished in 42nd place.

Junior Emilee McCusker (Hayward, Wis./Hayward) improved five strokes from Friday at 89 strokes. She finished the weekend with 183 strokes in 46th place.

Sophomore Grace Bolt (Grand Rapids, Mich./Grand Rapids Christian) tallied a round of 91 on Saturday to improve three stroke from Friday. Bolt finished the tournament in 49th place.

Freshman Jessica Zylstra (Grand Rapids, Mich./Northpointe Christian) finished the weekend tied for 54th place with two rounds of 95.

Senior Amira Bousaab (Grand Rapids, Mich./Northpointe Christian) recorded a 64th place finish this weekend with a two-day total of 201 strokes.

The Knights host the Railside D3 Classic on Friday and Saturday.
