Verified Minimum Throwing Marks Required for Entry Women’s Throwing Events • Discus – 25 meters • Hammer – 30 meters • Shot Put – No minimum • Javelin – No minimum
Men’s Throwing Events • Discus – 33 meters • Hammer – 34 meters • Shot Put – No minimum • Javelin – No minimum
If we find the throwing entries to be greater than expected we may put the – First legal throw measured/minimum distance mark for subsequent measurements – procedure in place.
Additional Meet information: Meet is open to College/Universities, Junior College and Individuals. High school athletes are not allowed entry as per NCAA rules.

Entry Fee: 13 or more student-athletes is considered a team. Entry fee is $15.00 per person or $200.00 per team. Men's and Women's teams combined is $400.00. • Teams may pay on-line or by check. Make checks payable to Calvin College Track & Field • Individuals or unattached athletes must pay entry on-line.
Spikes: ¼” inch, or less, spikes will be allowed on track and javelin runway surfaces.
