Calvin Men's Lacrosse Set to Host Carroll University

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Calvin men's Lacrosse team will host Carroll University at 8 p.m. on Tuesday Night for a non-conference matchup. 

The Teams: The Pioneers are 0-6 overall. The Knights bring an 3-2 overall record into the competition. 

The Coaches: Brian Nowak is the head coach of the Carroll men's lacrosse program. 

Dave Hoger is in his third year as the head coach of the Calvin men's Lacrosse program. Prior to Calvin, Hoger served as the defensive coordinator for the Frostburg State University (Md.) men's lacrosse team. Hoger graduated from Eastern University (Pa.)with a degree in mathematics and was a four­-year goalie for the Eastern men's lacrosse team. As a senior in 2012, he served as a team captain and led the Eagles to their first­-ever conference championship and NCAA Division III Tournament appearance.

The Players: For the Pioneers, Jeff Schultz leads the team with 10 goals and two assists.

For the Knights, Max Foster leads the team with twelve goals, six assist and a 39.6 shots-on-goal percentage.
