Calvin Men's Lacrosse Tripped Up at Ohio Northern
ADA, Oh. - The Calvin men's lacrosse team dropped a 21-3 decision at Ohio Northern University Saturday afternoon.
 
The host Polar Bears (1-0) led 14-0 at halftime. 

Calvin (0-2) scored three goals in the third quarter but did not score again.
 
Juniors Max Foster (Bloomfield Hills, Mich./Brother Rice HS) and Austin Bontreger (Fishers, Ind./Heritage Christian HS) and freshman Noah Boelens (Round Lake, Il./Grayslake Central HS) scored goals for the Knights. Boelens was also credited with an assist.
 
Five different Knights were credited with two ground balls apiece.
 
Sophomore Mitchell Caldwell (East Lansing, Mich./East Lansing HS) was credited with nine saves in goal for the Knights.
 
Ohio Northern outshot Calvin 51-6 in the game. The Polar Bears also won 25 out of 32 faceoffs. 

Calvin returns to action next Saturday when it hosts North Central College (Il.) at 1 p.m. at Grand Rapids Christian High School.
