189th Edition of Calvin-Hope Men's Basketball Rivalry Set to Take Place Saturday Afternoon

The 189th meeting between Calvin and Hope in men's basketball will take place on Saturday afternoon at 3 p.m. at Hope's DeVos Fieldhouse in Holland.  Hope leads the all-time series 98-90. A year ago Hope took both regular season meetings but Calvin came back to win the third meeting which took place in the MIAA Tournament Championship game.

Saturday's game will be broadcast by West Michigan PBS affiliate WGVU-TV 35/52. For links to the broadcast via video stream or satellite television hookup, visit the The Rivalry website.

One individual who will be making his 10th appearance in a Calvin-Hope men's basketball game is Calvin senior Jordan Brink who was recently featured by the Grand Rapids Press. A native of Dyer, Indiana, Brink has also been busy this year serving an internship with the Grand Rapids Drive - an affiliate of the NBA's Development league.
